Empowering Veterinary Nurses Through Education
MAVEN is dedicated to elevating veterinary nurses and assistants through education, mentorship, and community
Our Story
MAVEN was born from a simple yet powerful idea — that veterinary nurses and assistants deserve more. More recognition. More support. More opportunities to grow.
Founded by Brandie Johnson, RVT, LVT, MAVEN was created to bridge the gap between education and utilization in the veterinary profession. What began as a training role in an emergency and specialty hospital evolved into a passion for developing structured training programs, engaging presentations, and meaningful educational resources.
At MAVEN, education isn’t just about earning CE credits — it’s about creating change. Every workshop, course, and consultation is designed to build confidence, strengthen teams, and elevate the standard of care for both patients and professionals.
