These Digital Product Terms of Use apply to all digital products sold, distributed, downloaded, accessed, or provided by Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Education Network LLC, doing business as MAVEN.

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a MAVEN digital product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Digital Products Covered

These Terms apply to all MAVEN digital products, including but not limited to:

  • Downloadable guides

  • Training packets

  • Templates

  • Workbooks

  • Worksheets

  • Digital toolkits

  • Online course materials

  • E-learning modules

  • Workshop recordings

  • Presentations

  • Training resources

  • Educational handouts

  • Any other digital or electronic content provided by MAVEN

2. License to Use

When you purchase or access a MAVEN digital product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use that product for your own professional development and internal use within your veterinary practice or organization.

You do not purchase ownership of the product, content, curriculum, design, framework, or intellectual property.

All rights not expressly granted remain owned by Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Education Network LLC.

3. Permitted Use

Unless MAVEN provides written permission otherwise, you may use purchased digital products for:

  • Your own professional learning

  • Internal reference

  • Internal team training within your own veterinary practice or organization

  • Personal workflow support

  • Staff development within the purchasing organization

4. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Share, sell, gift, lend, forward, upload, or distribute MAVEN digital products to others who have not purchased or been authorized to access them

  • Post MAVEN products on public websites, social media, file-sharing platforms, learning management systems, shared drives, or other public or unauthorized locations

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, rebrand, or create derivative works from MAVEN content

  • Remove copyright notices, trademarks, proprietary notices, branding, watermarks, or ownership statements

  • Use MAVEN content to create competing products, courses, templates, workbooks, training programs, consulting services, or commercial offerings

  • Represent MAVEN content as your own

  • Sell or resell MAVEN materials

  • Use MAVEN products in a way that violates law, regulation, hospital policy, professional scope, or third-party rights

5. Internal Practice Use

MAVEN digital products may be used internally by the purchaser or purchasing organization unless the product description states otherwise.

Internal use does not include resale, redistribution, public posting, commercial reproduction, sublicensing, or use as the basis for a competing product or service.

If you want to use MAVEN materials for a larger organization, school, conference, commercial training, client-facing education, or third-party program, contact MAVEN first for written permission or licensing options.

6. Intellectual Property

All MAVEN digital products and related content are owned by Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Education Network LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Purchasing, downloading, or accessing a MAVEN product does not transfer copyright or ownership to you.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution may result in termination of access and legal action.

7. Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is due at the time of purchase. Access to a digital product may be withheld until payment is confirmed.

MAVEN may change product pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect completed purchases.

Applicable taxes may be added based on the purchaser’s location and applicable law.

8. Refunds

Due to the immediate and digital nature of MAVEN products, all sales are final once a digital product has been accessed, downloaded, delivered, or made available.

Refunds, exchanges, or credits are not provided after access or delivery, except at MAVEN’s discretion in limited circumstances such as verified duplicate purchases or documented technical access issues that MAVEN cannot reasonably resolve.

9. Access and Delivery

Digital products may be delivered by download link, email, website access, course platform, member portal, or another digital delivery method.

Purchasers are responsible for providing accurate contact and account information at the time of purchase.

MAVEN is not responsible for delivery delays caused by incorrect email addresses, user error, spam filters, third-party platform issues, or circumstances outside MAVEN’s reasonable control.

10. Educational Disclaimer

All MAVEN digital products are provided for educational, informational, professional development, and internal training purposes only.

MAVEN digital products do not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or patient-specific clinical guidance.

Users are responsible for applying professional judgment and following all applicable laws, state practice acts, veterinary board rules, hospital policies, medical director guidance, DVM orders, and supervision requirements.

11. No Guarantee of Results

MAVEN does not guarantee that use of any digital product will result in a specific clinical, professional, educational, business, regulatory, credentialing, certification, or financial outcome.

Results vary based on the user’s background, practice setting, implementation, team support, applicable laws, hospital policies, and other factors outside MAVEN’s control.

12. Termination of Access

MAVEN may revoke, suspend, or terminate access to a digital product if MAVEN determines that a user has violated these Terms.

If access is terminated, the user must stop using the product and delete or destroy unauthorized copies in their possession or control.

Termination for violation of these Terms does not entitle the purchaser to a refund.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAVEN’s total liability related to any digital product is limited to the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

MAVEN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, business, clinical, professional, financial, or data-related damages arising from use of or reliance on a MAVEN digital product.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before initiating any formal dispute, the purchaser agrees to contact MAVEN in writing and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally.
